Overview:
Peak Trust Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both the Fiduciary and Operations departments to ensure seamless client account maintenance and money movement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process trades, disbursements, and asset maintenance in client accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Record fees and other client transactions, making documentation accessible to the team promptly.
- Generate and process client statements within the expected timeline.
- Support the entire team with a comprehensive understanding of fiduciary accounting systems.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in daily processes to enhance productivity.
- Communicate professionally and considerately with internal and external contacts.
- Participate in projects and ongoing improvements for the Operations department.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, operations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fiduciary accounting systems and principles such as income and principal.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
