Peak Trust Company is looking for a Business Development & Relationship Officer (BDRO) to join our team and help drive meaningful growth. As a BDRO, you’ll be a key ambassador of Peak’s mission, qualifying new business opportunities, cultivating referral relationships, and representing Peak at conferences and industry events. This role blends client-facing relationship development with collaboration across marketing & fiduciary departments, to support the thoughtful expansion of our services.
What You’ll Do
Qualify new inquiries via phone, email, and website based on assets and service fit
Educate prospects on trust services, jurisdictions, and onboarding process
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals
Represent Peak at events, conferences, and speaking engagements
Provide clear feedback on market trends and lead insights to internal teams
Collaborate cross-functionally with fiduciary, marketing, and department leaders to ensure aligned business development

Professional and consistent follow-up with prospects and referral partners
Clear communication of Peak’s value proposition
Diversification and strengthening of referral source network
Thoughtful representation of Peak at industry events and educational forums

What You Bring
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A relationship-driven approach with the ability to build trust quickly
Ability to understand and clearly explain financial/trust concepts
A self-starter mindset with solid organizational and follow-up skills
Experience in a business development, sales, or client engagement role (trust or financial services experience is a plus)
Willingness to travel for conferences and in-person meetings.
